Under the direction of the General Counsel, the in-house Paralegal provides legal and administrative support by drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and corporate documents. Responsibilities include preparing agreements, overseeing subpoena and lien responses, maintaining corporate filings and records, conducting legal research, and supporting legal and contract training initiatives. The role also manages contract routing and filing systems, supports the Contract Management System, handles insurance-related requests, and provides backup administrative support to the Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel.
The position requires 3-5 years of contract drafting and review experience, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm, a bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate, and proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong communication, confidentiality, analytical, and organizational skills, can translate legal concepts into plain language, manage multiple priorities, and draft contracts independently without AI tools.
